I have a Kozmik Krooz'r that needs a new CPO. The cracks are starting to spread and I would like to scan and get one reproduced before it gets worse. Does anyone have any advice on who I could speak with to get a CPO made for it? I know this game is rare so it would likely need to be a one-off or a very small & limited run. I can scan my existing CPO, but specifically need help with stitching, vectorizing and printing, etc.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

put me down for one.

I just got one bret. No longer will I be emailing you every 6 months to see if you are ready to get rid of yours yet. lol

I have an extra control panel as well. Both cpo's are pretty nice, with just a little bit of cracking.

I bet rich at thisoldgame could do it, or gameongrafix.com

Hey congrats!. Where did you end up finding it? Can you post some photos when you have time? I would like to take a look. Was it in working condition, any issues with it? Between our CPO's I'm sure that we could get a solid scan. Let me know if you want to connect with Rich or I would be happy to.

Thanks

The scans were less than optimal in capturing the true colors of the CPO. I opted to take high-res photos of the KK CPO last night after taking it apart. Screen shots below. What are next steps and the best method to have new CPO's printed? I assume we need to get the original files vectorized first. Perhaps we can have Mgkastra assist…
Thanks…

if that's all the damage to your original you have there's pretty much ZERO chance i'd swap it out for an inkjet cpo no matter who it comes from. Rare game would be really devalued with anything less than a silkscreen job.

Agree. The front edge of this particular CPO is badly cracked and it has been rapidly degrading over the past year from use. The damage is more severe than the photos suggest. I have access to a second bare KK CP that I will cover with a repro, keeping the original one in tack and protected from further damage.

I'm fortunate to have a complete back-up control panel.
both of mine have good cpo's fortunately, but I'd get a back up.

I'm also probably not going out on a limb here either, but inkjet art won't be able to acceptably reproduce those colors. The neon pinkish and neon greens just aren't colors that type of printer can hit.

I just got a panel in myself and needed some parts from it for a project
so I scanned it as well.
Cpt Krzer is going to make for a great Tshirt!

but agreed no reason to change that one.
