Hi KLOV community,

I have a problem with a Kortek KTW-N-26 I bought from Ebay.
It seems the chassis has been quite heavily destroyed. I assume this occurred during shipping as there was no sign of this on the item's photos.
I've attached some photos so you can have a look at the impressive damage.
You'll see that all the area under the metal cage of the flyback has been pushed downwards with heavy force, completely breaking the PCB underneath. Even the metal frame is somehow twisted. The force of the impact looks huge (to twist a metal frame that thick). You can't do this even with a hammer.

Now, to be back on track with this section's topic, my questions are more around what can I do with this?
Should I keep it for parts for another same chassis I have in my MK2 cab (in case something fails and needs a replacement)?
Regarding the flyback, I'm pretty sure it's trash anyways as some black plastic pieces have fallen from it, and I don't want to risk to put power on an open or cracked flyback.
Also, for the PCB itself, I don't think there is anything that can be done to repair it, right?

Another question I had, although not directly related to my problem here: can I simply swap a KTW-N-26 with a K7000 chassis?
The KTW-N-26 is a clone of K7000 and mine is attached to a Zenith G-A63ADG25X tube, which seems to be also used in K7000.
I'm asking because K7000 chassis/flybacks are a lot more easy to find than Korteks.

Thanks for reading and for any idea/help you could have.

Yes, keep it for parts. Unfortunately the Flyback for that model is not reproduced. It's totally possible to fix the pcb issues, but the flyback is a lost cause if the case is broken.

Depending on the yoke, the 25" K7000 is generally compatible, in my experience, the vertical size is a bit low in the Kortek version, which will cause vertical size issues, see this thread:
