I just got my dedicated Gauntlet Legends today and it had a 25" med res in the cabinet which is too small and created a gap all the way around the bezel. So I have 2 extra Kortek 2914f monitors and put one in the cabinet today. I can't for the life of me to get any board to show a signal. The only thing I get on the screen is a faint message that is doubled up saying something like no video signal or check video signal. Will this monitor work on a med res game ? I thought this was a mutli-sync monitor that can handle all sorts of pcbs' from standard to med res. I have tried the vga cord hooked up to my laptop & a rgb standard midway hookup and can't get anything. Any help on how to hook this up and get an image on the screen is welcomed, as I am frustrated at this point.
Thanks
Chris

Did you try the monitor with any other board? You could always as a test is connect the monitor via a VGA cable to the video card to see if you get an image? Check your dips on the board and see what resolution your running. Then check how your wired to the monitor VGA uses a different connector then ega and cga. Its possible your running a different Res on the monitor than the board is out putting.

Here is what the video connector I have from the board looks like, i'm confused on the sync white cable if it goes in the 6th & last slot or r,g,b,blk,sync(5th slot) Also is this device from my makvision i was trying.

still looking for any help on this. I cannot get a signal from anything i try. I'm going to storage today to try the other one I have to see if it's a bad monitor.

Try hooking up a laptop to the monitor. That should tell you if you have a bad one.
The wires should be Red Green Blue Ground Ground horizontal sync Vertical Sync. But I am not sure why they are jumper-ed like that.

The laptop I had just ran it and it actually found the right resolution automatically.

The only thing I get on the screen is a faint message that is doubled up saying something like no video signal or check video signal.

Your monitor's broke. KT-xx14s show red (blinking IIRC) "NO SIGNAL" text on a little blue box when they don't have any input sync. If it looks garbled or doubled up, the monitor needs work done.

thanks guys as soon as I swapped to the other one this is what i got:
Everything works great, med res boards, standard res boards, my desktop PC. everything !
