So, I've got this Kortek "A-One"

C17 has bulged so bad that the identifying markers are gone. Does anyone know what to replace C17 with?

I have pics of my chassis to, in case I mis-identified it.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

That looks almost to be a Korean A-One AM 316. Looks quite similar. I could not find a schematic or parts list for it. On my Korean AP 0621 c17 is 100uf/50v. You may want to check with one of the gurus like Ken or Dokert. One of them may have a schematic or parts list.

I checked my notes.......I've got an A-One Korea AM-0629 19".....C17 on it is 4.7µf 63V. Does yours have a model number?

Thanks for all the replies so far.

I don't think mine is a AM-316. Pics I have seen of AM-316 have a long-knobbed white pot near the flyback, which mine does not have. My PCB and AM-316 do look very similar, they are probably based off of the same design.

It is on a 25" monitor. Marking on the top of my PCB is AM-0227, and the marking on the bottom of the PCB is A-ONE N25M.

Ken Layton's parts list don't seem to match up with my board.

On my board, the capacitor in question (C17) is on the output of the variable inductor (horizonal, I am guessing). It is also tied to the center pin of a TO-220 package IC (sorry, identifiers are really hard to get to unless I remove the heatsinking which I am wary of doing right now). Doesn't really seem to match up with anything on Ken Layton's or a generic K7000 schematic, but I will double check.

Any more ideas?

$5 paypal bounty for C17.

So far, I've gotten these suggestions:
100uf 50v
4.7uf 63V
470uf 50v

It's a smaller size cap, similar sized caps on the PCB are 1uF/50V or 100u/16V.

This cap is a bypass off of the horizontal coil.

After looking at some schematics, it looks like it is very similar to some Sharp Image - like the 325 and others. The 325's C701 is my C17, so I am going to go with that value (3.3u 100v).

I am also thinking of just getting a 325 cap kit. Or Digikey the caps individually. Anyone have any advice on this?
