Kortek 3414df Chassis Troubleshooting - Power Supply Voltages

I'm thinking the voltage is being pulled down.

I'm just going by the schematic.

if your'll looking at the resistors on the schematic

I wanted to see if the dc at the test point you checked

between the two resistors is still 2.8vs if you disconnected pin 3

or did it jump up in voltage??

if not suspect c122 next.

because you replaced c123 already if you did a cap kit?

I lifted the leg of R115 that goes to pin 3 and still get 2.8v on the opposite leg.

A complete cap kit has been completed on the chassis and C123 was replaced at that time. C123 still tests good.

I replaced C122, but no difference in voltage upon power up...it's still 2.8v at the test point between the two resistors.

May need to check each part.

All the diodes. confirm no low shorts on the secondary test points.

by measuring circuit resistance on each cathode of each diode.

There are some feedback voltages going to the primary, but should not matter until

some are there on the secondary.

At this point I would have to ad 20vs to the pin 3 see if it starts up.

Check each diode in only the primary or the secondary as well?

Yes In the primary, and circuit resistance

On the secondary @ each cathode

You check each diode in the secondary

I'm looking for resistance on the circuit.

Is any low ohms? On the secondary supply lines

To ground ???

So you don't have a isolated dc power supply?

It's strange how it drops from 150bs to 2.8vs

And the next resistor same value its only a volt drop.

How's the old resistor look

Overheated part is a clue something

Is wrong. These are small resistors

Check it out

All resistors look normal. No noticeable heat damage.

I've tested each diode in both the primary and secondary in diode mode on my meter and did not find any that were open or shorted.

All diodes returned between 0.41 - 0.75v. I can post each diode values if interested.

Sorry Not sure where to go from here.

May have to send it out for repair.

arcadecup should be able to service it.

If you have time to wait!

I would have to get up close on it, but I can't

where I work.

Good Luck!

I truly appreciate all your assistance! I'll reach out to Chad at arcadecup to see of he can service it and post any updates here.

Thanks again!
