Hi guys. Selling my Konami X-Men 6 players cabinet. Bought it 8+ years ago, and it's been sitting in my garage eversince. I think my sons and i played it no more than 5 times. Everything is original. I bought it cuz i'm a HUGE Marvel fan, and i'd kept it clean since i'm a comic collector as well. Selling it to make room in my garage for boys' bike. This 6 player cabinet IS rare. Two of the six coin microswitch might need to be replace due to my son hitting too hard on the trip-wire for freeplay.

As a bonus, i'm throwing in 2 extra fixer-upper of X-Men 6 Players PCB. Bought it on Ebay as back up in case it's hard to find. One has a bad IC....#18J (which is removeable to be replace). The board used to power up, but don't know why it won't power up anymore. Don't have time to fix it. And the other one has vertical lines next to the player characters.

Selling the cabinet for $1500. Wish i can put pics here, but don't know how.

UPDATE: SOLD

Sorry i don't know how to post pics here.

Some of you members had asked me to ship it thru NAVL....while i'm not that familiar with that, i'm gonna give the locals first dibs. Sorry. I'm trying to do it hassle-less.

One pic is from the bonus board that has vertical lines onthe characters.
One pic is from another board that has the bad IC #18J
And the pic of the X-men characters is from the good one.

I'll try to post some pics of the side art and maybe the interior of interior part underneath the control panel when i get home.

Nice looking machine, good luck with your sale. There has to be a comic book store that would love this right?

I'd think one of the many barcades that has opened up would want one of these, and they would gladly pay the asking price, if not more, for this game. Plus there are way more collectors now and many new collectors have nostalgia for this game and for Xmen.

That being said, not long ago you couldn't give away this game - it's freakin' huge.

Yeah, at one forum....this cab was called "The BEAST". I had to take it apart in three separte parts to take in home. And too bad not many actual comic stores are around anymore eversince digital media. I'm basically asking for what i'd paid for.....minus the extra boards that i'd bought. I was lucky enough to bought it from a local arcade business that'd closed down.

I actually have a buddy who has a comic book/movie collectable store in Burbank with a couple arcades in it, I'll see if he's into it. He's got a Jurassic Park with that huge Jeep, so he's not afraid of a big cab.

Personally I love this game, if I had a huge arcade I'd be all over it.

That game is in nice shape... they are usually a lot more beat up. Someone will buy it.

Wish I had space for it.

Call Neon Arcade in Pasadena. They might buy it.

Yeah, I'd seen a few in such a beat up shape over the years. I'd tried to dust-mopped it once a month, but wifey think it's ridiculous even when it's in a covered garage :) Thanks for the suggestion of contacting Neon Arcade. I'm gonna try to benefit members here first before outsourcing.

Looks to be in excellent shape. Price may be hard, but it's really in better condition than any of the others you see pass through here, plus two spare boards, so it'll probably sell just fine :).

In regards to NAVL, I sold another member a cab a month or so back now, and it was painless, they did everything, I just signed on the dotted line.

Halo13 store?

Officially sold already to member OutOfQuarters. I threw in a Konami TMNT pcb as well for his effort in renting a Uhaul to drive up to me from San Diego. At least now the cab will go to someone that will actually put it in use more than me. Thank you for everyone's inquiry.
