Konami to Jamma converter custom build, no sound issue.

I built a konami to jamma converter board so I could play konami games in my jamma supergun and I can't seem to get any sound from any of my boards. The sound works when I hook up jamma boards to the jamma harness, but just not when I'm using my makeshift converter. I followed the pinouts exactly as specified and my solder points are connected, so what gives? anyone else ever have such a problem?

I believe some old Konami games need -5 volts for sound. I'm guessing your supergun doesn't have -5 volts. What Games are you having trouble with, if you list your games, someone will be able to verify if -5 volt is your problem
