Konami switcher

i see parallel port switch boxes in thrift stores cheap all the time; usually A/B but sometimes they are 4-port.

so a parallel port switch box with a couple of parallel cables wired to molex connectors? it looks like Konami Classic uses 31 pins total (with stereo sound.) which would you skip on the switch box and wire together directly?

for non-2 player games you could leave off the P2 controls, i suppose. just wouldn't work on cocktails. TP '84 makes it a bit more difficult with 33 pins used; maybe tie a few of the grounds together? leave off the coin meters?

i've done the same thing. I usually run the power wires seperately, as i was worried about running current through a parallel port switch. For the record, i used a bus for the voltages, and switched the grounds seperately, that way, your only powering on one game at a time. As far as what wires to skip - coin counters aren't necessary, nor are p2 controls in a single player upright cab.
Check ebay for the parallel port switches. They usually have some.
