Really nicely built Konami Mikie bootleg here that keeps re-setting. Any ideas on what is causing it?

maybe the +5 volts needs adjusting
measure that with your trusty multimeter and see what you're getting on the power supply and ON THE BOARD and report back

Voltages to the board are very good and stable. I have a +5 adjustment on my supergun test rig, playing with the +5 didnt help.

What voltages do you get at the chips ?

Is the reset random or at the same spot every time ?

Those sockets are crappy, so try reseating.

I'll check the voltages at the chips as soon as I get in.

It resets at the same point every time. I'll take a little vid and post it.

I'll also re-seat before I do anything. :)

You probably have a bad rom or sram which is causing the CPU to crash. So verify those.

Check those sockets too.

Ok, found a broken trace on the bottom board. Fixed it, doesn't reset anymore.

So now it loads, credits, plays, but is missing the Mikie logo, and all the characters. Hmmm
