Do the Jamma to Konami adapters that exist work with Track and Field?

I picked up a track and field cab that was converted to a Double Dragon so it's Jamma inside. I have a spare Konami harness I can use, but will the new switching power supplies work with an old school game?

I'm not as versed in electronics, but I am learning and not afraid to try. Should I wire in my Konami harness with help from the forums, or should I just order the adapter and call it a night?

You could always get some fingerboards and edge connectors from jammaboards.com and build an adapter for the board your working on.

Yes, I have a both the adapter and the board, and it boots up just fine.

The only problem is that Track & Field mapped the buttons for running and jump to the same pins that other Konami Classic games (like Gyruss) used for Joystick controls. This means that if you use the adapter in JAMMA cab, the controls for running and jumping will be done with the joystick (left/right to run and up to jump).

If you specifically made a control panel just for TnF (swapping it in for this game), you could wire it up properly so it would work the way it's supposed to...

On a side note... if I pop in my Track and Field PCB into my scramble cabinet, I should be able to fire it up... controls not correct, but the board should fire up right?
