I am making a control panel for this Simpsons cabinet that was all beat up. I have fixed the cabinet damage and painted it black, now I am making a control panel for it. I for some measurements from sackashiet and have cut the panel. Now I am trying to figure out where it should rest, cabinet has a flat surface where the panel rests, but it curves to an angel at the top, then curves to a greater angle. It makes me think that the top of the panel is cut at an angle on the underside. Can someone please snap a photo of the top underside of their panel?

Here is what I am talking about:

Yes, the top underside of the control panel is cut at an angle to fit that angled part of the cab that you took a picture of.

Sorry, it's kind of hard to tell from my pictures because that part of my control panel had been taped/stapled down with vinyl by the OP who owned it before. I guess the CPO had been peeling off. But you can still see where it's cut at an angle and how it rests on the cabinet when it's shut.

On a side note, I think it's about time I dust off my X-men. :)

Here's a couple pics I just took of my TMNT's control panel there. Hope they help.

Edit: I can even take a measurement for you from the bottom of the panel up to where the angle starts if you like.

If you could measure the distance from the edge to where the angle starts, not the hypotenuse but the straight distance.

Measure 'A', B isn't really necessary, but that is good too. I used my powersaw, but it only cuts up to 45 degrees which isn't enough. Here is a photo, keep in mind I am not finished.
