I have a Evel Knievel home edition machine. Recently, the feature lights (game over, player numbers, and all the different scoring lights on the playfield) have started to pulse slowly. Not a flicker, they dim and then go back to full brightess in about a five second cycle. They don't all go on and off at once, it's more of a rotating pattern. Everything else on the game works fine, playfield illumination, score, scorebox illumination, tilt, and all other play is normal. The power supply connectors were brown on two pins, and I fixed that years ago and that was for the playfield illumination anyway. All the other pins look fine. I guess that means it's something on the rectifier board, but I don't know.
Any thoughts based on what I've described?
Thanks!
Jeff
EDIT I just checked again, and depending on how many lights are on they will flicker rather than pulse.

Man you want to buy my Zizzle Pirates of the Caribbean home edition? People really dont know about those machines here, they deal with real pinball machines. What yours is it's considered a toy rather then a machine sorry to tell you this. My Zizzle POTC is a TOY although it has solenoids,pop-bumpers, spinners etc. It is still based as a TOY. If it's your only one (pinball) you own be thankful, and save up for a nice real machine. Good luck in your endeavor's

Replace the electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board.

Marco Specialties sells the service manual for the Bally Home Pinball Machines.

Thanks for the help, I had a feeling it was capacitor related. I do have the manual from Marco, but I'm just not well versed enough in schematics to know which one to replace. I found a guy that specializes in that power supply who will rebuild it for 50 bucks. I know this game is looked down upon, but it's still fun and plays well, so for me, it's worth it!

BTW I would consider the Zizzle a toy, however my machine is nothing like that plastic thing. It's pretty damn close in size to the coin op version. And if nothing else, it is a piece of Americana, being linked with an American superstar from the '70's. All in all, pretty cool!!!
