If I was on Bobs list, I would want to know. As you see either of the guys knew they were on the list until this post. Bob is a lifeline for some in this hobby, being cut off or not cross shipping anymore would suck.

I've ordered from him numerous times and only ever got a pen once. and a really small miniature American flag once in return.

Most of the time though...no freebies for me. Which is fine, his cross shipping is all the perk I need. I'm just wondering why all of you guys rate for moonpies, and for me - a pen and a flag.

I have a deal with Bob, that he now lets me know when he gets my payment. I like to know for sure that Bob has got his end.

I must also have a "deal" with Bob too. He always e-mails me when he receives my check.

Maybe is was because it was during Mardi Gras, but I only received something "special" on my first order. Ever since then, he just sends what I order. I don't mind though. I consider it a blessing if he sends me anything more than what I order. He's the man. No questions asked.

I'm glad to see that Bob Roberts is still around. He was one of those guys that I remember from the "old days" of arcade collecting. It seems like a lot of those people are long gone now. What's this about moon pies? They sell those at Costco....or maybe it was Sams Club... I just saw them at one of those two places. YUM

I have gotten something free every time I have ordered from him. Some of the gifts are based on how much you spend on the order. The moon pies are good, I got them in two different orders last year. Pretty soon, I am going to need to put together an order. Hopefully my luck will hold.

I have gotten halloween candy, tools, bulbs, switches, hardware, 5 volt circuit checker. But never a moon pie. Oh well, I can't complain, the mini mart around the corner has 'em anyway. He always emails me with the old "received your payment today thanks!" mail.
I also send him an email letting him know I mailed out the payment since he is kind enough to let me know that he cross shipped and when to expect it.

I don't think I've EVER bought anything from Bob.... I've never had the need yet. But, it's really cool to see all the positive response he's had for the last 10-15 years! Since I've never ordered, I've never actually seen any of the cool freebies he's included with his orders. Can anyone show me some of the stuff he gives away? As someone who gives away freebies myself, I'm curious.

Oh, and how exactly does he pack these moon pies into the parcels? Does he just toss it in or does he wrap/pack it up somehow?

Just trying to satisfy my curiosity.
