For the second time over the last couple of years I tried to figure out how this feedback thing here works. (Even Ebay feedback is easier to figure out and leave).

Someone I just sold something to asked for me to leave him feedback and I failed miserably.

So can someone point me in the direction of the official KLOV feedback for dummies, (Doofus edition with pictures). :D

And before I go through all my private messages to figure out who I did business with over the past several years, if you bought something from me, please remind me. :D

(And I remember everything I ever sold). :D

Thanks.

Go into one of the trading forums and find a post by the person you want to leave feedback for. Under their name will be a feedback rating in the form of a number (it's ONLY shown in the trading forums!). Click that number to see their iTrader profile, then you'll see a link to leave them feedback.

Alternately, click on the 'iTrader' drop-down menu in the toolbar at the top, click where it says 'iTrader' (the first item) and use the 'search for a member' box. Once you find the person, you can click on their feedback score to leave more feedback.

The thing that always trips me up is that it appears to only be shown on the trading forums. Also, the fact that we have both a reputation system and the iTrader feedback tends to confuse me as well.

Click the members name... select VIEW PUBLIC PROFILE.

You will then see 5 tabs going horizontally...

ABOUT ME / STATISTICS / FRIENDS / CONTACT INFO / FEEDBACK SCORE

Click FEEDBACK SCORE.

You will see a BLUE LINK toward the bottom left side that says:

VIEW FULL PROFILE FOR >MEMBERNAME< (name of whoever you're trying to leave feedback for).

Click that...

You will then see the full feedback profile for the person you're leaving feedback for. Toward the top left you will see SUBMIT FEEDBACK FOR >MEMBERNAME< in blue... click that and there you go!

I attach the following paragraph to their email, private message, and printed and dropped in their package. Still, only about 50% of buyers (or less) take the time to do it.

Thank You for your purchase from CEC_DFW on KLOV. I have already left you positive feedback, please do the same for me (after you are satisfied with your purchase). If you do not know how to submit feedback, continue reading: Click on user name (cec_dfw), click on Feedback Score (you may need to click the >> arrows if you don't see it), click on View Full Profile for CEC_DFW, now click on Submit Feedback for CEC_DFW. The rest is easy… just make sure it's a Positive +1 THANKS!!

I figure atleast 10 people owe me feedback and have not left it because they don't know how. Kinda sucks. Hope people read this thread and learn the quick steps to leaving feedback.

As a new KLOV'r and someone who hasn't really done many transactions with others I truly value the member feedback. The value of the feedback is obvious, and like others have said I have a few transactions I've done where I requested the seller leave feedback and they didn't. Some have asked "how do you do it?"

I hope this thread helps.

The only part that is confusing to me is that it requires you to fill in the private comment box (or else it will give an error when you submit). I usually just paste in the same comment for both, then go back in afterwards and delete the duplicate private comment. Doesn't really matter, but I don't see why this is required.

I almost decided against leaving feedback for the one who asked just because of having to do the while comment crap thing.

Like on Ebay, I already leave the same basic comment for all transactions. Why bother with their rating system as well? Leaving feedback should be quick and easy.
