For all you newbies to KLOV.. a little back story. For the past 2 years, around Christmas time, we've done a KLOV Secret Santa gift exchange on here. Names were drawn at random, and a price range as selected. You would fill out a order form of some sorts with gift ideas you would like. They had to be arcade related though. Well our friend Josh (1UP) was in charge of it both years now and did an excellent job at handling the task. I talked to him the other night and he will not be able to do it this year. I was wondering if there was still interest in doing it again this year?

Im gonna pass this year. I was pretty bummed last year. My stuff came REAL late, way after christmas, and it was some stuff thrown together that was problably just sitting around that I couldnt use nor want. Even though when you fill out the form, it gives you a space for ideas. On top of that, I was delt a newb who only registered to do the secret santa, and then split. Only posted like twice. Double Whammy. And I was real excited about it too. Very dissapointing. /end rant

bummer dude, please try again. the fun includes the chance. do it for the fun of it. i plan to send a thoughtful gift to the klovr that i draw.

that really sucks.. Maybe this year there should be a minimum post limit and/or length of membership minimum to avoid that?

anyway, i didnt participate the last 2 years, but i am in for this year.

I'm in again.

I was very late in getting my stuff to my recipient last year too. Wasn't descrentl but I imagine my guy was equally unhappy. However I put a bit of thought into it and things took MUCH longer (as in months) to receive from the stores I ordered it from. (I did however have certain people tell the guy it was coming late so he didn't think he'd been forgotten.)

If it makes you feel any better Descrentl, the guy I gave my stuff too never acknowledged receiving them or said thanks in any way shape or form. But that's not why I want to do it. I like the giving part and will try much harder to get them to the recipient on time.

My Secret Santa (sender) sent awesome stuff and I'm going to try my best to live up to his standards this year. But please remember, the fact that someone wants to participate does not mean you will get a brand new Exidy board set or anything crazy. Times are tough and it's the thought that counts.
