Man, you are making my blood boil. I've had to type and retype this reply several times to tone it down out of respect for Les, this community, and this event. My life has been a trainwreck the past few months and I go in for a cancer screening tomorrow. Keep your comments to yourself, you know nothing about me or the things I'm going through.
I sent my gift out several weeks ago but the print company sent it to the wrong address. I've already contacted my recipient directly to let him know about the print shop screwing up and they've already shipped the replacement copy of the illustration I did for him to his house. He's been nothing but understanding of the situation and according to the tracking the print will be there on the 13th. Does it suck it took so long? Absolutely, but the company I ordered from flubbed it and sent the gift I ordered to my old address instead. I was sitting here twiddling my thumbs for weeks (speaking hyperbolically here, I've had way too much going on to fixate that hard on this but I've been trying to keep an eye on the situation) waiting to see when it would be posted only to find out earlier this week it had never been sent to the correct location in the first place. Someone at the service I ordered from shipped to the billing address on my credit card instead of the shipping address I had typed in. Just more stress added to the shitpile, so I called the company up and left a voicemail explaining the situation and asking for a correction.
I'm sure when it arrives it will probably be posted. The company chose to email me back apologizing for the mistake and I now have a tracking number for the new package. I understand none of this was really part of the message chain above but I'm so exhausted I just kind of put it all out here- I care a lot about this forum, its people, and this event, so I apologize for shitting up the thread.

I got a homemade bootleg Robot Chicken blu-ray and a pack of pliers. I've never seen this show but I've heard of it, it reminds me of the old ToyFare magazines I used to read. Thanks to my Santa. Sorry for not including the pliers in the photo, and sorry for not posting it sooner. To be blunt, I felt embarrassed- I don't have any way of actually playing this especially given the blurb on the back states it's designed for "real" blu-ray players and I don't actually own one.
