KLOV in 25 years???

Now it's all about the redemption games. I don't see people collecting redemption games. Ever.

Although it would be kinda fun to have a whack-a-mole....

Thats where redemption all started between that and skee-ball which I thought were fun but if I wouldve known what it was turning into back then I wouldnt have supported it. lol

If I had space I would love to own a redemption game just to simply get good at it and go to the local arcades and clean them out. I remember one time I was at an arcade and there was a guy playing one of the redemption games where you roll a quarter down a shoot and try and get it in the bed of a construction vehicle. There was also a switch you could hit for the jackpot. This guy hit the jackpot every time. He had to keep getting the attendant to refill the machine with tickets. Cleaned it out maybe 3 times in the 20min I was there. I bet the guy only spent $4-5 too.

Sad thing is the prize he could get after all that only cost the arcade 2 bucks. lol

I think it's very possible that in 25 years, games like Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero will be collected and by people currently in their teens.

And like Frizz said, a classic is always a classic- so the original classics will always be sought after.

In 25 years, Frizz, Jow, and Phet are all have over 2,000,000 posts, the word douche will be just as fresh as it is today, and despite the fact that Obama will have been out of office for 23 years, still, each day three or four threads talking about him will be started.

I like that redemption game. The jackpot switch is awesome. The machine spewed tickets for
several minutes - I thought maybe it had broken. :)

It is actually fun trying to get the coin in the dump truck bed.

The forum will still be here but in 25 years it will be in 3D!!! Everything's better in 3D now that Avatar made a brazillian dollars!

The 3D in 'Avatar' was great. The only 3D movie I had seen was 'Polar Express' and the "dead eyes" of the characters was creepy.

'Avatar' would have been better if the Marines had won. :)

You know, arcade video games aren't too far off from being coffin sized. Some of us on here could potentially be buried in one. Although many of us could not. :001_ssad:

Don't forget we do have a Mario Widebody.

We might have to have a subforum with a sticky-graveyard once some of us start kicking the bucket. You know, a little tribute to each one of us where people can leave their condolences.

And we will be referred to as "the Ancients"
