KLOV confessional.

I once took a piss in the back of an Asteroids cabinet.

Granted, I was about seven or eight years old at the time, but if you own one that occasionally smells of human urine, that may have been my fault.

The only space I have for my games, is packed with my games, so I can never play my games, and I do this because I know they are 'mine'. Still trying to figure out what to call this condition.

I bought a Sega Genesis console to play one game and lately, I have been playing it a lot more than my arcade games. If anyone is curious, it is Dune: The Battle For Arrakis.

I once owned a MAME cabinet which was made out of a Gorf cabinet, which had been converted to a Capcom Bowling. It had the LCD, the X-Arcade control panel, the whole deal. I was really proud of it and posted photos of it, then I got really defensive when people called it a piece of crap. Soon afterward, I realized that it was. I dismantled the thing, and eventually sold the X-Arcade stick on eBay. I literally pushed the empty cabinet down the basement stairs, where it sat at the bottom for an indeterminate length of time, with some damage on the upper left corner as a result of the fall. I was able to trade just the empty husk to a guy from Craigslist in exchange for a G-1 Ultra Magnus reissue Transformer, complete and mint in box. Some months later, I saw the same cabinet for sale on Craigslist.

This unfortunate cabinet was the inspiration for my screen name.

I changed out the volume pot on my Tempest because the old one had issues, and I just twisted the wires together and wrapped them with electrical tape instead of soldering the connections to the replacement pot.

I can't and don't troubleshoot monitor problems at all. If theres a problem i send out the chassis for repair. Replacing caps and flybacks i have never even tried...monitor issues scare me.

If a game I want has any monitor issues or glitches I pass on them even if its a great deal.

I muck around with juat about everything else....just NOT the monitor.

I know nothing at all about the game Wacko and I feel like I should since I've been on KLOV for approaching 10 years now.

I have all the time in the world when it comes to finding and buying broken games yet I can't find the time to fix them.

I spend more time on Facebook than on Klov at this point. I also run into fellow klover' and never introduce myself because I have no idea how to start the conversation.

When you meet a klover in real life you say hey you wanna go in my basement and checkout my collection ;) If they say no you have candy remember that.

That game is f'ing awesome. One of the classics for Sega. There was a DOS version too but not as good IMO.
