Picked this up off of Ebay for 5.50. I thought I was buying a Empty dedicated cab. I never bothered to look in the cab until I got it home. The cab is in very good condition. I had to add the coin door, monitor, and switching PS. I had an old exidy cab that was once a Klax. It had nothing but a monitor and marquee. Welp, fast forward to today from Friday and here it is. I had just put the monitor in so the bezel and glass are not reinstalled yet. The cab really needs nothing except side art on one side. All total I have about 30 dollars in it. Oh, the empty cab had a board in it. I guess I can sell my other Klax board. The control panel is perfect.

Awesome! Klax is a pretty sweet game. I'd love to get one myself.

Only problem is that Atari was kind of lazy on the cabinet artwork. It would have been nice to have some nice full-sized side art instead of those stickers.

nice! atari drawer cabinets are the best. You might be missing the bracket that holds the glass(at the control panel). It would be easy to make one. If you need a pic of it, let me know.

The monitor rotates very easy in that cabinet. Makes a pretty good mame box. The only problem is that the panel uses just the start button in jamma, but the wiring hanress has 3 wires per player going into the molex. all you need to do is add the wires from the panel to the molex.

nice! i have an EFTPOTRM that's been converted into a Neo Geo... love the drawer design but the 19" in it looks a little small so i think i'm going to put a 25" in it soon.

That rocks! Congrads!

Don't ask me why, but every time I see this game, I immediately think "Ex-Lax". Is it possible to have my brain F disk and formatted? :(

Pit fighter/rampart/ect are the same cabinet. Just it does not have the wood monitor mount. it has a metal frame. The monitor fits in there pretty tight, you might have to use L irons to mount a 25" in there..

yeah, i've got a couple of 25" tubes and frames that i picked up free recently and a K7000 25" with a bad tube and wrong frame (side mount ears.) i'll use one of the empty frames to figure out the sizing and mounts. the Neo Geo 138-in-1 will look awesome at 25" and i probably won't even have to hack up the cab just in case it ever gets converted back.

I have all the brackets. They just weren't installed for the pic. I had just slid the monitor in a few minutes earlier. I'll finish putting it together today. Thanks for the offer...

I agree about the artwork. It looks good under a black light though. I'll have to see if I can find one side. The restoration total for this one will be about 75 dollars.:D

Since you need just the 1 side check out quarterarcade... they've got 1 side for like $20. I just picked up this same cab a couple months back. It's a great game and I'm throwing a multiJAMMA in there to be able to switch to Tetris and eventually something like Bust-a-Move to make it a nice all-around puzzle game cab.
