Hello!

I have a Klax cabinet in excellent condition that no one wants to buy, so I am going to bite the bullet and take it out of my garage and put it in my basement arcade.

I then got the idea to pop a Rampart board in there. I know that the drawer cab the klax is in will work with a Rampart joystick version PCB, and I may have a good lead on a board.

My question is this...

Are the drawers for the 3 player trackball version and the joystick version interchangeable? I know the drawers don't just "pop out" but if I remove the joystick drawer, will the trackball drawer fit in the same cabinet?

Pics I've seen online, the cabinet looks to be the same shape.

I can check that for you as I have bot rampart and klax. but not now(busy with cax). I would think its the same, but I have not tried it.

ramparts control panel bolts on(2 pieces). klax is 1 piece. Klax is 19" in same width cabinet. Pitfighter would be closer if you find one.

The other difference between Rampart and Pit Fighter - Pit Fighter is a terrible, terrible game :)

True, but your not interested in the game. your interested in the cab.. Pitfighter being terrible means you can get it cheap.. Way cheaper than getting a rampart..

Guess I wasn't clear in my original post... Sorry about the confusion. My Klax is complete.

I like Klax WAY more than PF. If my choice is Keep the Klax or convert to a PF... well there's no choice :)
