Kit games that deserve a dedicated cab...

I loved that project, it looks like it belongs in that color scheme. As always, very well done!

Actually, I don't really see the fascination with dedicated cabinets.

You seem to like newer games, though. That might have something to do with it. Early on, dedicated cabinets took on characteristics of old-school pinball and EM games, so they had some classic amusement lineage in the art.

Unrelated topic: Arkanoid came dedicated. Yes, I'm now officially a broken record, but it's true. :D

For Red Baron, at least the cockpit cab can be called dedicated. I think the upright Red Baron and games like Black Widow are more subjective. To me they are dedicated if they left the factory as that game even if they were converted at the factory.

I feel if its not original art on the cabinet, its a kit. Atari sold field kits and installed the kits before they sold. The artwork under all of them is gravitar, so I consider black widow a kit.

Same thing with red baron UR. I don't know if they sold a field kit, but its BZ under the art, so its a kit..

The dedicated upright red baron is a rare proto only.. Thats the cb I would like to see made..
