Killer Instinct Working w/ KI2 Extras, Houston area

Hey guys,

Finally putting my Killer Instinct game on the market. I live in the southeast Houston area. Looking for $800 OBO.

I bought the game as converted to KI2, but converted it back to KI1. I will include the KI2 chipset and hard drive (should you want to play KI2), and marquee

Some info on the game:

Cabinet is solid, 25" Hanterex Polo's been reworked by Chad at ArcadeCup, new KI1 chips and compact flash unit, new microswitches for joystick and buttons. I had to fab up a replacement back door out of MDF though. Also, the locks have been removed.

Here's a link to a youTube where I try to accurately portray the condition of this game.

The only issue I've ever had was on really hot, humid Houston-mornings (or nights) when it would just remain on a blue screen. I would simply wait 'til a drier time of day and it would play fine, and stay that way.

Please feel free to ask any questions!

I'm going to talk to my sugar daddy, I want this thing so fuckin bad you have no idea but I don't have the cash for it.

Those conversion kit's aren't easy to come by.. I'm glad I was able to score one. So ultimately the complete package is worth it. Hell if you were any where within a fair driving distance I would easily of made you an offer.

Good luck with the sale, and did you happen to mark the conversion chips, just so the next person that may want to play KI2 can put them back in the right spots?

it's a good and fair question man, especially if you knew what kind of a goober I really am!

It's black sharpie on a black chip, kinda tough to see but there if you look.

I hear ya. Figured it was a longshot, lol. Had I the cash, it'd be sold. Always have wanted a KI cab. I've owned the board, but never a cab.

tempted to throw out the old Wayne's World sobbing scene: "Well I mind! I mind big-time! And you know what the worst part of all is?! I never learned to reaaaaaad!!!!"

I sold it all locally for $700.
