Hey Guys and Gals,

I've tried to do my research, but if I missed a post or something somewhere else online I'm sorry.

Can someone please measure out the botton spaces (center point to center point) up and down, left and right for me please. Also the center of the joy to the center of the first and fourth button.

I'm away from home for a few days, but in my down time I'm want to map out a new control panel for the showcase. I would love to play KI on a 33'' monitor, and the only control panels I have are Tekken 4 and Blitz for it. So those are no good at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The layouts are nice, and I had thought about doing the 1.5'' x 1.5'' before. The 1 3/8th'' spacing seems it would be tight with the button nuts.

Broodwich that would be great if you could. I'd like to see if they are close to the SF layout on my big blue. 1.75x1.75 which I think is a little too wide for a KI?

Thanks guys.

so far stick center to 1st button center is 3.25" and button center to button center is 1.75"

it's 5" from stick center to button 4 center.

This may help. I scanned it from the MK3 service manual. You should be able to use the measurements to get what you need because it's the same dimensions as KI, except for the 6 button layout...

let me know if you need any other measurements, glad to help.

zeno's diagram is nice because it also gives you the locations of the joystick t-nuts.

Yeah that does help out a lot.

Thou I have to put the project on hold till I get back to hobby lobby and pick up some different graph paper. What I thought I was buying is totally different. But I may be able to use it in the future.

It's a clear vinyl 18'' x 24 ft. It has a dot pattern of one dot per half inch, on the paper side. So instead of cutting plexi and probably fk'n it up.. I'll give this a try and see how it holds up. Scrapped that idea.. gave it to my sister for the kid's artwork instead.

I really should pay more attention to the labels on things..
