Finally got some free time to install my Killer Instinct 2in1 set up in my KI2 cab during the Holidays.

Parts added:

1. Killer Instinct 1 pcb. This took awhile to find a cheap one, years ago you could go on ebay and buy one tested-working for less than a $100. Today it's a struggle to find one for less than $300. One came up recently untested without a hd for $150. Crossed my fingers and took a chance, got it, worked great.

2. Killer Instinct 1 IDE Module. Got this from Chad at Arcade Cup. Works flawlessly, it's fast and no external power supply needed. $35.

3. Kick harness condenser pcb. Got this from Toplessz. Prevents kick button feedback between games with diode protection. $35.

4. Extra kick harnesses, header housing and pins. Got from Jammaboards.com. Had to make double ended kick harnesses for the above condenser pcb. $33.

5. Mike's Double JAMMA adapter. Website says may take 2 weeks time to process. Got it in 3 days. Powers both games simultaneously and switches between games by pressing p1 & p2 buttons. Seems to be very high quality compared to the Chinese jamma switchers. $135.

6. IL EUROSTICK JOYSTICKS (2). Got from Paradise Arcade. Should be delivered today. Old sticks are worn out, flaky switches and weak springs. Never tried these, read these are the original competitions that Happ based theirs on. $20.

I can dig it, all good items you got there, chad and topless definitely have nice products

Great job! Just so you know, there is no feedback with the Jamma+ harnesses with the Mike's double jamma switcher. The feedback only occurs when you use the 6-in-1 switcher. You could have simply spliced the wires together without the need for diodes or the condenser PCB. Could have saved you time and money. That's what I did for mine...

D'oh! Yea, I would have liked to have saved some $. It was pricey to add KI to the cab. A long time ago i asked and everyone said i would need diodes between the kick harnesses.

With the 6-in-1 yes, but not with the 2-in-1.
