The kickback coil on my GnR keeps blowing F9 on the playfield power board. As far as I can tell the only thing F9 iscontrolling is the kickback coil, eerything else seems to work fine. It blows as soon as the machine gets power. It heats up red hot and pops. Any ideas?

Your coil is locking on. You need to go through the typical coil checks.

Ohm coil
check diode
check driver transistor(s)

Be glad that fuse is there and of correct size. A blown transistor is a nasty problem on that board.
