Just finished repairing a Kick-Plate for a Root Beer Tapper cabinet. Not sure what I should use to put it back on the machine. At this point, I'm thinking wood glue.
Here is the kick-plate for the cabinet. The previous owner attached it to the bottem of the cabinet with staples. I removed the staples, repainted it, and now am wondering how to put it back on without staples
Might be tough to get the staples lined up, and unless you have an electric stapler, it might be pretty tough. I've installed two repros and I use small finishing nails and a punch at the end to set the nail in flush. Then I go over the small nail heads with a Sharpie and we're all set.
Repainted it a brownish color to contrast with the cabinet. I used removeable wood-glue, and it seems to work well, and it looks pretty good. Thank you for the tips, though. I should work on getting an electric stapler
