Does anybody have Kickman in their collection?? Looks like a cool game.. I have most of the Pacman games and since this is the predecessor to them it might be cool for my collection.

I don't have one personally, but I played it a lot bitd. One of the more unappreciated games at the time IMO. If you hate calliope music, probably not for you. ;) I assume they're pretty rare?

I have one. Great game. Love how it starts off easy (so you can point press) and the difficulty ramps up pretty fast. Recommended for sure!

Not to mention it's mirrored monitor setup to get that deep tunnel look makes it unique looking.

I always liked Kickman. I think it's a fun game, easy to play but it does get hard fast. Kickman was originally released as Kick and *after* Pacman. I understand they added the Pacman part of the gameplay and changed the name to Kickman to capitalize on the success of Pacman.

Kick came out after Pac Man, not before. Pac man and the crew have a cameo in the game.

...

As a kid I only this in 1 location: Straw Hat Pizza in Reno, NV. It was around the corner from Circus Circus.

Actually that pizza place had some odd games.. Looping, Kickman and Mappy (some that I remember).

No, the klov DB description is wrong. Pac-man is in both versions of the game - the only differences between "Kick" and "Kick-man" are on the title screen and the marquee.

And yeah, it's an awesome game, and a great test of skill because the balloons drop randomly rather than being patterned...

I have to agree with everyone, this is a very underrated game... Very fun and addicting. I'd love to pick up a dedicated one someday.
