KI2 to MK3 Power Setup Question

So I have this identity crisis KI2 cabinet that I'm going to convert to MK3. When I got it, it had a sega Naomi system inside that I've since removed. I've been looking up the schematics for the power wiring and of course I'm missing the transformer. Also my power wiring setup looks different than what I've found in the KI2 power diagram or seen in pictures.

Nonetheless here's my plan. As you can see in the pictures, this 4 pin connector has high and neutral wires (yellow box) going to the switch on top of the cabinet and another pair (red box) coming back into this enclosure housing. In the enclosure housing the return wires (red box) go into a terminal block that goes to the 9 pin connector on top of the enclosure. I want to take the return wires underneath the enclosure and rout them to a 120v isolation transformer, and have the output wires plugged into the terminal block to achieve what the schematic shows. It makes sense to me but I would appreciate a sanity check?

Also any suggestions on an available 120v isolation transformer to use? I appreciate it.

these don't have isolation transformers. by that point Midway had switched to using all SMPS monitors that didn't need them. I believe Mortal Kombat 3 was the last game with isolation transformers and K7000s.

Holy crap you're right, I was looking at the KI2 ROM kit instructional manual instead of the actual KI2 manual 🤦. Though I was planning on using a K7000, but I can just put the transformer on output side of the monitor 3 pin connector.

what's wrong with the monitor that's already in it?

Killer Instinct looks like garbage on anything but a Hantarex Polo. my elitist take.

It originally came with a hantarex polo in it but the flyback was arching. Haven't worked on it since my garage has been above 90 degrees. I currently have a K7000 that I rebuilt in it now. I could swap it with my spare K7400 for simplicity. Any takes on which monitor looks best with MK3?
