So I have this identity crisis KI2 cabinet that I'm going to convert to MK3. When I got it, it had a sega Naomi system inside that I've since removed. I've been looking up the schematics for the power wiring and of course I'm missing the transformer. Also my power wiring setup looks different than what I've found in the KI2 power diagram or seen in pictures.
Nonetheless here's my plan. As you can see in the pictures, this 4 pin connector has high and neutral wires (yellow box) going to the switch on top of the cabinet and another pair (red box) coming back into this enclosure housing. In the enclosure housing the return wires (red box) go into a terminal block that goes to the 9 pin connector on top of the enclosure. I want to take the return wires underneath the enclosure and rout them to a 120v isolation transformer, and have the output wires plugged into the terminal block to achieve what the schematic shows. It makes sense to me but I would appreciate a sanity check?
Also any suggestions on an available 120v isolation transformer to use? I appreciate it.
