I was looking to build my own for my KI cab and got a great deal on some 512MB DoMs so I thought I'd put a few together and cover the cost of my parts while passing on a good deal to others :).

I can do either KI or KI2 (although I don't have a board to test KI2 prior to shipping). Kit includes the DoM which direct-attaches to the PCB, and a replacement boot ROM.

Pricing is $20 + shipping (USPS flat rate box is $5.15 without insurance or $7 insured, 1st Class Mail in bubble envelope would be around $2.50). If you don't need/want the boot ROM, subtract $2.

I currently have 1 left.

Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

I have some messages, but not sure about the power connector. I assume it uses a standard Floppy drive connector?
Correct. I have a couple FDD to 3.5" HDD molex adapter cables in my desk in the office if you need one. I meant to include one when I mailed out the adapter but completely forgot. Let me know if you need one and I'll throw one in an envelope and drop it in the mail.

I am pretty sure I have an adapter, if I don't I can wire one up as I have a bunch of old AT and ATX power supplies.

I think it would work with Area 51, the original Seagate hard drive is 1080.
The CHD would fit just fine, it's the connector. You would need a 3.5" to 2.5" IDE adapter (40pin to 44pin). If you have one though, I can send you the DoM and you're welcome to try it out and see if you like it better than the CF ;).

LOL, ahh. I thought you meant that the new DOM were 40 pin. :D

Edit:

I actually have and adapter for a laptop DVD burner!
