Anyone ever try to get a new key for a change machine? I've got the lock intact and open but no key. Its one of those heavy duty rectangular locks off a BC 100. I have a working lock on my BC 150 and thought about swapping it over, but after examining it, getting a new key might be easier!

I didn't realize the T style lock was really just the tumbler cylinder, I was thinking the whole unit had to be swapped out. Much easier and not too expensive, thanks for the replies!

As for the other machine I'm getting rid of it.

Anyone else out there have a Rowe BC-1? I am looking for a key as well.

Thanks!

Go to a locksmith if it's open.

Pull the lock - they can re-key it for you. The last one I worked on used a Medico key, if I recall. That was back in 2012-13

I literally just changed the locks on my BC-25 yesterday because I didn't have a key. I had to use a lock pick to open it but then took the inner cylinder out and bought this off of Amazon. Installed in minutes and works great!
