well, last friday was my 10th wedding anniversary, so i had to come up with a nice present. friday was the 1st 1. snagged a fully working gyruss off feebay for just over $100. wife wanted one of these and was her classic holy grail. game works perfect. sides are painted black but the original artwork is still visible.

then saturday we went to the warren oh auction. had a some things in mind for the wife and that was a crazy taxi. the game she wanted the most....bar none. well, ended gettn 1 for her plus she was mad when i sold off our pin so i picked up another for her. also picked up a candy cab and i'm gonna put my xxxx in 1 in it so our 7 yr old can play it easier. pics kinda suck but i'm still in the process of figuring out where these games are gonna go.

You sir, have it all figured out.

I applaud you. Well done.

I wish I could keep MY wife happy by purchasing games for her. Dude, that's awesome! MY wife? Eating out at a nice restaurant without the kids, a movie, etc. Games? One way ticket to the doghouse. LOL

Nice find!

It seems like chicks really dig the megatouch games...definitely one of the best purchases I've made for my collection!

Great find! (the wife) Any woman made happy by those rather nice pickups is a keeper for sure. :)

And man that candy cab, is that Ehrgeiz in there? I haven't played that in forever, I really gotta figure out if I can get one into the multi-jamma project cab I'm working on...not the greatest game, but a lot of good memories.

Congrats on the new games. Its nice when the wife is into it too, isn't it? My wife loves our arcade. Hey just so you know, your Gyruss cardboard bezel is in upside down. The open end should be at the top...

I have given my wife games for her last two birthdays and last Christmas. The games were Ms Pac, Centipede, and Super Off Road. She really wants a Dig Dug but I am not willing to put that in my gameroom. Two other games she really likes, and possible future birthday/Christmas presents are, Rampart and a Bride of Pinbot pin.

Do you guys really have problems with your wife's? I even had her convinced to do an arcade themed nursery when we found out she was pregnant. That did change after we found out it was a girl, but there are still arcade influences such as the Bub and Bob dolls I got from Shardian.

You did well. I bet that made for a nice anniversary! Did she get you a game or two that you've been wanting? It's gotta both ways ya know. ;)

so you got the gyruss?

How's the burn in?

Looked pretty bad in the auction.

I wish someone would repro those.

repro the bezel or the wife??? LOL

My wife is all good with the games and the time I spend on them but she hardly plays them at all. She has gotten into Carnival King and Police Trainer lately though.

If I got my wife a South Park pinball for a birthday or Christmas present, she would reward me later that night for sure.

As a 10 year anniversary present I think she would get a little irritated...but still like it. Knowing my wife, she will want some sort of vacation for our 10th.
