Karnov converted into a cabinet for Nintendo game systems

Hi, I just joined the forum a few days ago. I thought I would post some pics of a project I finished recently. About 2 months ago I picked up a non-working Tempest from a friend of mine who was in the process of moving. It was in the attic when he bought the house a few years ago. I had a local tech come over to fix it, and it ended up being a measly fuse. Anyway, he saw my Centipede cabinet that I fixed up into a MAME cab. We got to talking about restoring old cabinets, and I said I was looking to get another to convert for my old Nintendo systems. He said he had an almost completely gutted Karnov cab sitting in his Mom's garage for the past few years. He had hoped to convert it to a Bubble Bobble at some point, but just didn't have the time. He said he would take $50 for it if I wanted it. I said deal, and got to work on it as soon as I got it home. I repainted the front and sides, put new t-molding on it, put in a 19" TV, built a custom control panel for the joysticks, put shelves inside for the game systems, and added a new bezel and plexi. The decals and the PlayChoice-10 marquee I got on e-bay, and the Nintendo Super System marquee I got from emdkay.net. Both marquees are original. I will post pics of my MAME cab and Tempest soon, but I thought I would start with this. Let me know what you think!
