A sexy b*tch that is...

I saw a good CL deal come up and immediately jumped on it for a friend and fellow KLOVer... The guy emailed and said it was mine and we scheduled a pick for the next day. Now I could have bought it, flipped it and made some cash but figured I'd pass it on.

I called the guy the next day to tell him that my buddy would actually be picking the game up and paying for it to which he asks if I am also interested in a non-working pinball machine. I ask which one and he tells me "Pharaoh", I ask how much and he says "you can just have it". Needless to say I tell him I will meet him and my buddy within the hour to pick it up.

So a after some wife complaining, chit-chat, game loading, and a couple of hours this is it... my first CL freebie!

There is wear around some inserts but nothing horrible. The cab is beautiful, the backglass is pristine and the plastics look minty. I haven't even plugged it in yet... maybe this weekend.

Holy shit, man am I jealous!! It's not like that's a piece o crap, undesirable pin either. Great artwork, and fun as well. Great score, looks like it will clean up real nice. Congrats!

CL freebees are awesome- I'm on my third. Of course, the freebees I have are usually dead or are in bad condition. I've never had anything this nice. You'll have to let us know when you get it going. Great score!

Congrats! It is nice when the gaming Gods smile at you. ;)

no arcades or pins for me but i have gotten a $200 water cooler and a nice sundance hottub lately off of craigslist free..

i figure its time, ive given away all kinds of stuff over the years.

Nice pickup. NEat pin!!!

That would be sweet standing next to a SS Cleopatra pin and/or a Stargate. Anyone know of other Egyptian themed pins?

That is one really nice score you pick up there. Wish something like that would pop up around here. I am up to 2 arcade freebies so far though :) .

Here's to hoping it is "just a fuse"!!!

I finally had a chance to look at it this AM and I can't believe it, it actually was only a fuse.

I turned it on and it went straight to audit mode. I noticed that there was only one ball in the trough. Playfield inspection revealed that there was a ball sitting in one of the outholes. I freed it, put it in the trough and power-cycled the game... now it boots to attract mode.

I went into the tests and had a bunch of switches stuck on and no solenoids firing. I check the solendoid fuse on the power board and its toast. Replace, turn on game, drop targets pop up and game on!

Somehow I've never seen a Pharaoh before...looks like a pretty cool pin though. Congrats on the relatively easy fix.
