I know people hate the price check threads but:

What would a decent Karate Champ pvp be worth? Looking into one. Thanks guys.

Not sure what a PvP is...?

Player Vs Player.. With 2 sets of controls. It looks like there is a version with only one Controller, for only playing the computer.

AFAIC, it was only PvP... Never saw a single-only version.

As far as price, erm... Dunno. Game doesn't really command much, even though it's an awesome game. I would guess $50~$75, but hopefully others with more experience will chime in. That's simply a guess.

About $250-300 for one in excellent condition. Great game but not as much demand for it as you'd think, seems to turn up frequently and in good shape.

The PvP version- anywhere between $150-$300 depending on condition. It's one of my favorite games but they made a ton of these.

There's a single player version in MAME. If you play 2 players, it alternates between each player (vs the computer). I don't think it was very common though, I've only seen the player vs player version.

I don't know anyone who sells any working game this cheap, the working monitor chassis is usually worth this much.

I think I paid $175 for mine, fully working.

I have a non-player vs player boardset as well and I actually like the cut scenes better. It has something of a story line to it instead of just fights for the attention of prepubescent girls.

How can I tell if If I find one in the original cab? Do you know what style of cab they factory come in, or what the Serial # plate would look like?

Here is the flyer for the earlier, non-player vs player, version of the game:

I just sold a Karate Champ for $235 with freshly capped monitor. The cabinet has issues, but the monitor looked great and game play was perfect.

Whoops, I was thinking "PCB" because of the PvP. Sorry about that... Yeah, $250~$350 for a complete working game.
