What is the original color of the Karate Champ player 1 & 2 buttons?

Well when I got my cabinet, the buttons were red. I thought they should be white, so I put white buttons on mine..... but I've seen KC's with either Red, White, or yellow player buttons.
So the answer is.. I don't know.

Google images shows cabs with both red and yellow. (Mostly. There was one pic with white, too.)
The KC flyers don't show a cab, so that won't work as a reference. I don't know where else we could look, short of finding one in a vintage video clip or something.
Personally, my brain wants to say the ones I played as a kid were yellow. I think red looks better, though. It seems unlikely that ops would have changed them over the years (especially all to yellow), so it seems reasonable that they could have come from the factory with multiple colors.
So I would tend to agree with DLP, the answer is probably any of the above.

I'm going to say that 'I think' they were definitely red, originally. Personally I think they look best in red. Red is the color the buttons were in the movie 'Bloodsport' and that's what's most important to me. Kumite! The jury may still be out though because the machine in the movie could be either be a conversion or even an early prototype as it's sides are white! but I do know that a couple of the best examples I've seen come up of the game through the years, that looked to be home used only with no work done at all, I've noticed they were red too.
