I thought this was an interesting bill to see show up considering that there aren't a lot of people lobbying for changing the old coinop rules. Apparently, the state of Kansas is looking to rollback some of the old pinball regulations from the 80s (you know to save the kids). The new rules won't go into affect until 2020 and still need to be voted on, but in 6 years, liquor stores should be allowed to have pins in their stores (assuming you can still find pins by then)

Good lord. Strike Kansas off as a state I would ever move to.

I already live in the Uber-Nanny State of Illinois. God, it sucks.

I was born and raised in NE Kansas and I can say that this does not surprise me one bit (regarding the current legislation).

Definitely one of those "it would be funny if it was not true" ordeals. Good luck passing the bill though.

I have never seen a pinball machine in a liquor store. Actually it sounds like a horrible idea. I can think of plenty of valid reasons why you would NOT want pins in a liquor store, but I can't think of many (any?) reasons why you would (or why anyone would invest time/effort to fight such a law).
