Hi all..

Since I have basically given up finding an Arabian upright...I may as well just buy the boardset and convert to Jamma.

I know Kangaroo can be played on the PCB with a ROM swap...but what about Dig Dug??

Would there be any others???

And...While I am at it...would anyone have a working boardset for sale??

I just sold 2 working Arabian boards and a full harness. Kangaroo and Arabian have different pinouts, so I didn't know you could ROM swap the boards. It's funny, I had a converted Arabian cab many years ago that wound up a (crappy) MAME machine. It was converted when I got it, and I didn't know anything back then. If I had kept it, I would have stripped the black paint off of it. The sideart is great on that cab.

I don't know much about either game. I have had and sold them in the past, but never thought of keeping one. From what I have seen, I doubt its just a rom swap. arabian is a single board. Kangaroo is a double stacked board. Dig dug is also a single board, but its loaded with custom chips on it. Plus there is also a namco version of dig dug.

But if you found a pcb and an uncut wiring harness, you should be able to plug them into the atari brick and play them. You might have to swap ARII as kangaroo and arabian use -06 and dig dug uses an -01.
