Hi guys. I'm having a hard time with a k7500 monitor that's not getting 25 volts to tp205 and of course the vertical transistor at u601. I'm kicking myself because this is a self-inflicted problem. The monitor was working but it had original capacitors and I needed to change the fly back because I had focus and brightness drift so I decided to cap it as well. After I capped it I turned it on and our R303 started smoking and R402. I turned off the monitor and then checked it on the bench and I realized that i accidentally severed the trace at the negative lead on c613. Those traces are so flimsy. So I fixed the trace and tested my resistors and they were still in range. I also tested d302 and q801 was not shorted and r803 was in range and r625 was in range. D603 right in front of the vertical transistor tested good as well. I powered it on again and the same two resistors started smoking again. R303 and r402. I changed r303 and r402 after this and I also changed d302 and d603 in front of the vertical transistor just to rule that out and I still have the same problem. I don't understand what's preventing that voltage to the vertical ic. I'm only getting 6 volts to TP 205. The negative lead on c613 travels to the last 10 on the vertical IC. That's the trace that was severed. I thought about replacing the vertical IC but I don't think that really matters and it's not my problem because I'm not getting the correct 25 volts to it anyway. Appreciate the help.
