I have a K7500 from a Golden Tee 2004 which was showing a clear picture before the cap kit but the picture was too wide and squished from top to bottom. The colors were also washed out.

Now that I've capped it, the picture is no longer too wide and squished but the sync seems off and there is a triple picture. This seems like a resolution issue but I haven't changed anything since it was working with the exception of the cap kit. I have tried to change the dip switch settings for resolution but it makes it worse when switching to low from the default medium resolution. I used the deluxe cap kit from Bob and made sure to not put in caps where they were not originally since the kit has extras for the other chassis.

Any thoughts?

Here is a picture of what it looks like. This is the best I could get with the remote board and horizontal pot at the back of the chassis. The sync is very hard to dial in. Haven't messed with the colors much:

Did you try tweeking the vertical hold pot? If the image is rolling really fast, sometimes it'll look like a triple image. Also, when you did the cap kit....did you replace the flyback?

I did tweak all of the pots and the picture is not rolling, it just looks like it is. It is just a triple picture. I did not replace the flyback.

I should also mention that the B+ is right at 120

Verify all your caps polarity, and make sure none have lifted pads underneath.

Inspect the remote to make sure the cable is connected firmly on both sides, and that none of the pots are cracked or broken...
