I have the tube and chassis noted above. I have put multiple chassis in it and every single one looks good then goes blurry. I took a chassis out of a good tube and it did the same thing. First time I have run into this, normally it is a cap thing on the chassis but this isnt that. Wondering if there is something on the tube I am missing. I ran a rejuvenation on it and colors are better but still have this issue. Thanks!!

I'm interested in hearing what some of our experts say about this.
I'm also curious what type of rejuvenator you used and procedure you may have followed.
Did you set tracking etc. How about yoke readings?

The rejuvenation wasn't the cause of this. It was doing this before that process. That said, I used a 490B. No shorts, no issues found.

I didn't think the rejuv caused the issue. It seems you have it narrowed down to a tube issue that the rejuvenation didn't fix. That made me wonder about the yoke ohm readings.

Yes the oem flybacks are notorious for these failures.
I've noted a few times previously I think that gamefixer and I had a few of those bad flybacks and tested them with a ring tester and they were all bad on the same pins. so it sounds like it was a design flaw or a poison pill.

its your tube not the FB . tube likely beginning to pull excessive, full load electron gun / FB current causing drift.

why a new yoke too? find a new tube with the exact same yoke or port the yoke of the bad tube onto the new if that does not have the same yoke.
