My k7500 is jittering horizontaly after I did a cap kit and replaced the flyback. Here's a video of the problem:

Solder has been reflowed on the chassis and neckboard. I tried adjusting both the H hold and V hold pots with no success. I also cleaned the pots using some control cleaner. Any suggestions on what it could be?

buy an oscilloscope and start looking at the little pictures on the diagram to see what signal you get at the certain points. at a certain point you don't get the "sawtooth" pattern, then you know the problem is before that

send it out to someone ???

good luck

nice dude !

I came back to offer probably more bad help in hopes of helping but I see you got it

sweet

thanks for posting fix for those in the future

Your help was great! I'm sure with a scope I would've found the sawtooth wave to be unstable. It made me realize that a scope would be a good investement if I want to keep fixing these.

I kinda got lucky because I decided to replace all the ceramic caps around U701 with caps from a parts board. When I desoldered the first leg of C707 it fell off the board.
