Just pulled this monitor off the shelf from a bulk buy.. Had a tag on it, "no picture".. So I tested the tube on my B&K and it's all good.. So I fired it up and there's picture.. Once I attached it to a game, I can't get it to sync (tried it on more than one game).. This monitor didn't come with a remote adjustment pcb, so I grabbed one off a newer wells.. Could that be the issue? It's a nice looking monitor with no burn.. Hope to use this in one of my keepers..

Any help would be appreciated.

How are you hooking up the sync? It should go to the negative horizontal pin only if using negative composite sync.

And the remote may be the problem. It should be a P758 remote. Vert Hold is VR105, and Horiz Hold is on the chassis. If your remote has a H Hold pot, then that's most likely your issue...

humm...

Might have phrased that incorrectly.. I'm not hooking up the sync, just plugging in the video cable from some of my games.. What's happening is the picture isn't syncing.. shaky, or scrolling back and forth.. I looked at the P758 remote specs and it seems to be exactly the same as the one i'm using..

Just not familiar with these monitors.. Used to the 20+ year olds heh...
It's also a bit hard to adjust any of the pots on the chassis.. so small and i'm afraid of shocking myself.. Should I post a screen shot?

Thanks

Not hooking up the sync? Usually it's part of the video connector, and could be hooked up incorrectly for that model while it would be proper for a different model.

Post a pic of how you have video connector attached...
