K7200 WGE1972-HOGS39L - any way to adjust width outside of the remote

i had this monitor in a vertical game, and it was a solid, full picture. i moved it into an elevator action, and everything looks good, but i cannot adjust the width to the right using the remote board...it's about an inch and a 1/2 of blank.

is there a jumper, or a horizontal coil somewhere i'm missing on the chassis? other than image fill, it's perfect.

The regular K7000 (that the 7200 is patterned after) had a horizontal shift jumper back near the yoke connector. Check yours to see if you have it...

thank you. finally found the jumper...but no difference between the 3 settings (including jumper off).

out of curiousity, what is the value of the pots on the remote board?

even threw a few resistors inline, but no way to adjust that extra inch. looks like i'll throw this back into a vertical. sucks, as very clean. but oh well, looked perfect before in a veritical, and sure it will again in another vertical.

curious about this monitor

I installed the same monitor in a Moon Patrol cabinet today. The picture looks amazing and I can use the remote board to adjust the display, but the width isn't correct?

I looked up the manual and I don't see a jumper listed?
It's about 1/2 inch short on each side when at max width setting.

Anyone got another adjustment or idea?

For actual width you can adjust the horizontal width coil using a long coil adjustment tool. Note that I said "coil adjustment tool" and not a "screwdriver" - you will find out VERY fast why not to use a metal screwdriver :) Basically if you have the plastic monitor adjustment tool set, use those and the little red extender tube so you can reach the coil without sticking your fingers into ground zero.

On the flip side, I have the same problem as the OP, and apparently there's several other posts like this, identical problem with no resolve. I have 2 Zenith K7000's - one of which was good with perfect alignment but fly crapped out last night, and this second one that I just pulled of the shelf and capped (to replace the failed one), but this one is offset exactly like the ops. It seems I can adjust the horizontal position to the far opposite setting and it will ALMOST line up, but then loses sync as soon as I get it to where it needs to be.

Going to check over the schems but if anyone has ideas let me know. The ONLY difference between the replacement chassis and the previous is that this has a remote board, but I'm considering yanking it off and just swapping over the pots to see if that would help.
