I have a k7000a on a 19" tube. I am looking for a standard 19" k7000 that will work on this tube. What serial or chassis numbers should I be looking for for a 19"

ooh the old zenith version aye???

the good old 19k7901 or just about any other 19k7XXX chassis *should* work
(there are some exceptions like the med. res version and the 7400/7500 series are incompatible for sure as theyre a newer version made in a diff factory, different design),

That bieng said some that will work for you may have a different neckboard that will need to be changed out as some has a 8 pin neckboard and some had a 10 pin..
If you get a 10 pin chassis and need a 8 pin neckboard lmk as im pretty sure i have a few laying around...

if you have a 10 pin tube preferrably youd want a 7901 chassis as i know for schizzle that those are 10 pin....

IIRc, the zenith version and wells version used the same yoke, but id wait for a monitor master like ken or mod to step in to be sure.. im pretty sure i went from zenith to wells a few years ago but that was a few years ago heh.... so id wait for confirmation before you go through all this troube for nothing...

id put a want ad here on the klov and see whos got one. those chassis are pretty common and i know theres guys here who sell good used and or refurbished ones...

I believe the Zenith one uses a 10 pin tube (for 29mm diameter necks). These use a P448 neckboard.

Look for 19K79xx or 19K76xx model numbers and ask if it has a P448 neckboard.

I'm pretty sure the Zenith and Wells k7000 series for 10 pin tubes (29mm) use the same yoke.
