I have vertical lines on the left side of a K7000A 19" that look like this:

Mine looks pretty much exactly like that.

From the most common solutions I've seen people talk about, none have worked. I've tried replacing C204 on the neckboard with a 22uf 250V cap and there was no discernable difference. I removed the ground clip on the side of the monitor frame that connects to the other metal parts of the cabinet. No change.

I also recapped all the electrolytics on the chassis.

This monitor is in a SNK Neo Geo "Goldie" cabinet and it has all the original parts, including the PSU. Could the PSU be faulty and cause interference in the monitor?

I've heard about another solution where you have to bridge common ground to earth ground? Unsure if that's needed in this PSU.
Even if you had to do it, why isn't it done from the factory?
Did they have this issue back in the day when these machines were brand new?
