I have recapped the chassis and rejueved the tube but nothing seems to get rid of these diangular lines, which can be most clearly seen in the white bar. Any ideas on what could cause these?

take the earth ground off your monitor frame.

your getting interference from your noisy power supply running the PCB.

a life hack of sorts for video games... on screw terminal power supplies you use a piece of wire to bridge the earth ground and logic ground terminals to eliminate ghosting.

it's something that Williams did on all their games from NARC onward.

normally I see it happen on monitors that don't require isolation transformers, something about how the AC bounces around in those switching power supplies. :) I think I saw it on a Neo Geo K7000 once. blew the operators mind when I executed the jumper.
