I have recapped the chassis and rejueved the tube but nothing seems to get rid of these diangular lines, which can be most clearly seen in the white bar. Any ideas on what could cause these?
Removing the ground but I was mistaken, it took 10-15 seconds before it looked good. I just regrounded it to another spot but now it look great. Thanks
a life hack of sorts for video games... on screw terminal power supplies you use a piece of wire to bridge the earth ground and logic ground terminals to eliminate ghosting.
it's something that Williams did on all their games from NARC onward.
normally I see it happen on monitors that don't require isolation transformers, something about how the AC bounces around in those switching power supplies. I think I saw it on a Neo Geo K7000 once. blew the operators mind when I executed the jumper.
