My K7000 is blowing fuses after a cap kit/flyback. Removed bad R103, R104, R105, C33. C36, VR, HOT all okay but removed at the moment. I have a question regarding the T2 transformer.

What should the resistance be across the top and bottom pins (1-2 and 3-4)? I am reading around 50 ohms for 1-2 and 0.8 ohms for 3-4. The low resistance between 3-4 results in the left leg of the HOT showing continuity with the ground. I'm an electronics n00b, so I'm not sure if the resistance between 1-2 will change when the chassis is powered up. If I do need to replace it, where can I find one as I didn't see it on Bob's site? Thanks.

Sounds about right from what I remember. To properly test the function, you'd need a ring tester...

BTW - was it blowing fuses BEFORE the cap kit? If so, check C38, D18, D13. If not, check to make sure you have insulators between the HOT & VR and their mounting walls...

No fuse problem before the kit. I had the insulators on but accidentally had the middle leg of the HOT touching the heatsink. I got a nice little light show and now I'm trying to figure out the damage. If the transformer doesn't seem like a major issue I'll just replace the bad resistors and see what happens when I fire it up. I'll double check the components you mentioned just to be sure.
