Hey guys,

So I finally fixed this dead K7000. New flyback, new HOT, new voltage Reg, new C38, and new R103

It came back to life.

It's working great except every 30 seconds or so, the image shakes almost like it's losing vertical hold but it's different. The image for a split second shrinks like the monitor is gonna shut off but it doesn't. It's very fast. Hard to describe.

Any ideas?

god knows lol.. tey to get a video of it acting up. Wiggle the remote board, wiring, video connector, see if you can find a "sore spot"

Just tried it on another tube and it's good. Wtf? lol

Gonna re-try on the first tube just to double check, but looks like something is up with the tube itself? Atleast my chassis is fixed I'm happy about that

There could be a short in the tube yes... weird krap like that can happen. COuld be the anode wire wasnt fully seated either, swapping back will tell you for sure.

Weird, put another chassis on the tube I was having the issue with and it works fine.

So my repaired chassis is on another tube working fine, but doesn't wanna work with the original tube. I'm gonna look over all my work and re-flow

It might have something to do with the anode cap. It's a brand new flyback but the cap ripped so I replaced it with a cap from a parts chassis.
