I am working on a K7000 chassis and my first question is: Is it compatible with the tube I have. I have taken a couple photos of chassis model # and tube model #.
Next, I found some issues with the chassis and repaired them. Hot was shorted so I replaced the Hot and flyback, and the width coil that was damaged. When I turned it on for the first time I am getting a blue light from inside the neck of the tube. If the monitor tube and chassis are compatible, I would assume there is a short of some kind inside the tube. The element measures 10 Ohms. The yoke measures 3.0/13.6 Ohms.
I have attached a video of the arcing as well as 2 pictures of the model #'s.
The noises in the background are me trying to plug in the extension cord in the dark, and the iso making some noise =).
