I already posted a thread about this but there has some new developments. I tried 2 other remote boards and the same issue happens. so I know its not the v size pot itself. but when I shrink the image down all the way I have no problems. (other than a shrunken image). when I gradually increase size i starts to jitter when the image is about 2 to 3 inches from the top and bottom. so I believe its something to do with the vertical size. but thats al I seem to know. would just buy a new one if I had some extra cash. but they're just so damn expensive. uploaded a vid. notice the life bars on the monitor how the randomly move. its hard to capture this movement on a camera phone or even a high-def camera but I assure you its beyond irritating.

Is it a sync issue? Are you running composite sync? Is it hooked to the third pin (only) on the small P2 connector? How is your video ground wire from your harness? Try running a ground next to the R,G,B wires of P1 and one to the first pin of P2. Also, check the wires running to the remote adjust board for damage.

Weird

So I decided to swap out my other k7000 from my mk2 machine into the machine with the jittery monitor. once I had it out I took apart the chassis made sure everything was clean and connected. I put it in my mk2 and no jitters! it looks fantastic. Thinking I may have solved the problem I connected my other machine to the monitor and wouldn't ya know it same issue. so apparently this one k7000 hates my mame machine. Oh well. the pictures not as good but its stable. when I get the extra cash i think im going to get a 9800 or something instead. don't know how I feel about 27" compared to 25" but I think it will just make life easier.

Well, you forgot to mention in your first post that you were hooking this up to a MAME machine. I guess you use an ArcadeVGA card or somethiing? I'll bet the problem is with your settings or wiring, not the monitor...

I bet your right but Why would it work in one monitor and not the other. Both monitors are identical. And it used to work until a week ago or so.

There are different versions of K7000 chassis (K7191, K7193, etc) and that could account for it.

Also, you didn't mention if the chassis had been recapped. If the caps on one chassis are slightly more dried out than the other chassis, that could account for it, too...
